Price and term are critical with Hoffman. He’s one dimensional with a booming shot on the power play and little else.

Let’s not forget his locker room reviews are less than ideal, especially when vets will be looked to not only lead these young guns, but sometimes they house these rookies, teach them how to be pros in their day to day, etc. Anyone brought on board MUST pass the “do I want them influencing my rookie” test…

I know scoring is needed, but scoring hasnt been a strong suit for us for awhile.i would rather see them bring back Alec Martinez for the next couple of seasons at about the same contract dollar and solidify our backend a bit more and that in turn should help peterson and quick to be better, also a much better team leader and vet presence.i think the kids coming will bring the fire power we need offensively, and they will push for spots on the roster this coming season and beyond.rebuild the strength of the back end from free agency imho.

I would say steer clear of Hoffman. He’s best suited for a team that can afford a guy that floats and is one-dimensional and might just need some some PP help.

I feel like the Kings (in their current state) should be developing the young guns and need guys that will will work hard both ways.

Nothing against Hoffman, but I’m not sure his style of game is suited for LA right now.

Go Kings! Go!

Yeah. I feel like if GMRB wanted a hoffman he would of went for him when he was floating as a free agent for awhile Last year. Also. LA probably dont want his potential locker room issues.

I'd much prefer Brandon Saad. younger, better game, character, has a Cup.
